Perform multiple, non-technical tasks with the ability to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions
Summary of essential job functions
Arranging furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for meetings, classroom activities, and special events.
Attend training for all aspects of the job including equipment use, cleaning solvents, floor care, maintenance training, blood borne pathogens, new and improved procedure.
Clean assigned areas maintaining a sanitary and safe environment.
Inspect facilities for the purpose to ensure that the site is suitable for safe operations. Identify necessary repairs due to equipment breakage, weather conditions, etc.
Maintain supplies and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items required to properly maintain the facility.
Minor maintenance is required.
Respond to immediate safety concerns.
Specific skills required to satisfactory perform the functions of the job include the abilities to: operate floor and related electrical equipment, common cleaning tools, and using these tools and equipment safely.
Knowledge is required to understand written procedures, write routine documents, speak clearly, and understand multi-step and oral instructions. Specific knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job includes methods of industrial cleaning, preserving floors, walls, fixtures, etc. Cleaning materials, safety practices and procedures.
