
Position Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Job Summary
Primary function:
Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; Coordination of all on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
Secondary Functions: Office support functions
Primary Job Duties:

Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.

Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.

Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.

Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules with managers.

Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

Manages new employee relocation, if needed, by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing community introductions.

Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.

Manages intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.

Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Coordinates background, drug and reference checking process.

Manage basic metrics reporting for HR.
Skills and Qualifications:

Must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills and such skills as Phones, Recruiting, Interviewing, People, Supports Diversity, Employment Law, Results Driven, Professionalism, Organization, Project Management, Judgment

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within talent acquisition strongly preferred.

Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook
Education/Experience:
-
High school graduate or related equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

Minimum of one year experience at full or partial participation in the recruiting process.
-
Minimum of one year experience in a business or office environment utilizing the required customer service and administrative skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be fit for duty and work in all client facilities including all the required environments as it relates to the processing of new applicants or new hire employees

Ability to stand/walk for minimum of 8 hours

Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to travel including driving and or flying to various sites in the United States.

Must be fit for duty to include long hours sitting as it relates to the processing

Must be able to read/write proficiently and comprehend written language.
