On-Site Administrative Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Full time position Monday – Friday; 7:00 to 3:30.
Will provide office support to the PSI mill site supervisor and team members; reporting directly to PSI Site Supervisor
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Tracking and reporting of hours for payroll purposes.

Create and track work orders.

Code invoices for accounts payable entry.

Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office software programs.

Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.

Use internet for various functions.

Provide administrative support to the PSI site supervisor and team members.

Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: answering phones, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

Maintain confidentiality
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Initiate and continue rapport with employees and site supervisor on related issues.

Support team in assigned project based work.

Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
-
Professional verbal communication skills including telephone protocol, with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Professional written communication skills to include business writing and ability to type 50 wpm.

Business math/accounting principles.
-
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Access). This is normally acquired through three to five years of clerical/office experience.

Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning and prioritizing
QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to pass criminal history check and drug test.

Must be organized, detail oriented and flexible with work and time requirements

Strong time management experience required with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must have minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial setting along with basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge.

Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Must possess and develop an atmosphere of respect and credibility.

Must have the ability to establish a common understanding of goals and expectations within the business unit

Possess a commitment to safety at all times and demonstrate this commitment by their actions.
